Dr. Elizabeth Tateoka

Dr. Elizabeth Tateoka graduated with her Doctorate as an Adult-Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with an additional certificate in Geriatric Medicine from the University of Utah in 2016. She has extensive experience in hospital medicine, perioperative medicine, and vascular access, and she has worked at various hospitals around the country. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she graduated with her Bachelorโ€™s in Biology in 2006 and completed a second Bachelorโ€™s in Nursing in 2008.

Following graduation in nursing, she was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and served as an active duty nurse for five years. She began her active duty nursing career as a medical-surgical nurse in Jacksonville, FL, and was deployed nine months after completing Officer School to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in 2009 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon returning, she transitioned into the Emergency Department and deployed again two years later to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. She deployed with the Marines as an ER/Trauma nurse in a Shock-Trauma Platoon & Forward Resuscitative Surgical Team in the Sangin River Valley during 2012-2013, again in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon return and after completion of her initial active duty service, she transitioned into the Navy Reserves. She deployed a third time in 2019 to Kuwait in support of the Combined Joint Task Force, Operation Inherent Resolve, and served as the Chief of Clinical Operations for Iraq, Syria, and Jordan. She spent considerable time โ€œin-countryโ€ actively supporting the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coalition medical units whose missions ranged from point-of-injury care up to hospital-level capabilities. She has served in various operational units, hospital units, and expeditionary units in the reserves and continues to serve as a Commander in the United States Navy Reserves.

Through her years of experience in civilian and military medicine, Dr. Tateoka decided to change course from current Western medicine models to the Medical Aesthetics Industry. Her vision includes improving access to medical weight-loss services and non-invasive and minimally invasive medical aesthetic procedures, with future direction into root-cause analysis and functional medicine. She has received further training, education, and certifications from the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM), Empire Medical, PCASkin, and Biote Medical. She continues to seek out new learning opportunities with the aim of helping improve peopleโ€™s health and quality of life in the North-Central Massachusetts region.

Dr.Tateoka’s commitment to others is evident in her pursuit of advanced training and education. Her expertise includes medical weight loss, bioidentical hormone optimization, neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers for facial balancing, laser hair removal, other skin and aesthetic treatments, IV hydration and vitamin injections, and hair rejuvenation.

Dr.Tateoka is dedicated to ensuring each client receives customized treatment plans and recommendations to help each individual reach his/her desired goals. Her approach is centered on building lasting relationships with her clients, helping them achieve positive self-confidence, and engaging each client in their own care throughout their wellness and aesthetic journey.
