What is neurotoxin treatment?
Neurotoxin is not any single procedure or product. It is a group of injectable products that are recommended to soften lines, furrows, and folds associated with the cumulative effects of making a facial expression. For instance, squinting and smiling can contribute to those wispy lines that extend outward from the corners of the eyes. This type of procedure is also most commonly known by the brand name BOTOX® Cosmetic. How do neurotoxins work?
The product is injectable. So, one of our skilled injectors will apply the neurotoxin that is best for you into the specific “trouble area,” be it around the eyes, between the brows, or on the forehead. Once injected, this treatment resolves the underlying cause of expression lines at their source: muscle activity. The nerves send messages to the muscles, telling them to contract.
